Car Rental/sales Agent

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Handling of leads and following up on enquiries**
- Responding to leads timeously
- Moving leads within the CRM system, ensuring accurate information
- Following up with clients
- Get clients to send the necessary documents in order to get it loaded on the approval system
- Upload documents (Bank statements, ID, Drivers, Payslips and POR) onto the approval system for finance department

**2. Customer Service**
- Communicate with client in a professional but friendly and welcoming way
- Greet customers professionally and courteously
- Provide information about available vehicles to the clients
- Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance where required
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively

**3. Rental and Sales Processing**:

- Process rental and sales transactions, including completing paperwork and verifying customer information
- Understand and explain rental terms and conditions, sales contracts, and insurance options to customers
- Ensure accuracy in documentation and payment processing
- Getting the client to do the debi-check (Debit order) mandate with the contract
- Let the client pay the deposit and rental for the chosen and approved vehicle
- Ensure all information required in rental agreement is completed accurately

**4. Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance**:

- Inspect rental vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and safety before and after rental periods
- Test drive and check every vehicle prior to clients arrival (service book, correct stickers, general check)
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, such as cleaning, refuelling, and minor repairs
- Report any significant maintenance or repairs to the appropriate department
- Full vehicle damage inspection to be completed with every collection
- Clients to sign and receive a signed copy of the vehicle inspection sheet
- Original inspection sheet to be attached to the rental agreement
- Scan vehicle licence disc and client drivers licence to link the vehicle to the client for traffic fine purposes

**5. Maintenance plan, towing and call outs**
- Explain to the client the maintenance plan, call out and towing fees
- Show client the 24/7 emergency number and ask them to save it on their phones
- Hand the client the updated service book and let them sign for it
- Show client when the next service is due
- Do a quick “training” session with clients on:
i. Tyre Pressure

ii. Tyre Condition

iii. Fluid levels and the importance of checking fluid levels

**6. Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate and organized rental and sales records on the CRM system
- Participate in inventory management, tracking vehicle availability, and ensuring proper documentation of vehicle status
- Ensuring on completion of the rental agreement that all the necessary documentation is attached to the agreement
- Updating Active Campaign, Google sheets and all other platforms of information when a sale/rental is made
- Handing over the rental agreement to the finance department to capture data

**7. Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure that customers understand safety guidelines and driving regulations
- Verify driver's license
- Explain to clients the accident procedure

**8. Sales and Revenue Targets**:

- Meet or exceed individual targets set by the company
- Meet or exceed team targets set by the company
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop leads and convert them into sales opportunities
- Take photos of clients on collection and generate positive google reviews

**9. Qualifications and requirements**
- Matric certificate or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of different vehicle makes and models
- Familiarity with rental and sales processes - advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Sales skills and experience will be greatly beneficial
- Ability to communicate well with multiple clients

**Remuneration**:

- Basic Salary - R9000.00 to R13000.00 per month depending on experience, excludes commission on sales
- Commission - structure to be finalised
- Company vehicle

Pay: R9 000,00 - R130 000,00 per month
