**Purpose of the role**:
Attend to the day-to-day activities required to manage the company and provide support to the various portfolios, projects and activities to manage the company. The person will report to the board and be required to report back to the board meetings on the actions and activities agreed upon. The Office Manager will implement decisions of the board of the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage complaints or feedback from the various e-channels.
- Be the single point of contact for all the tenants and people working in the company.
- Support the procurement process by preparing tenders or source quotations for work to be undertaken.
- Oversee projects being implemented and report on progress.
- Prepare budgets and track expenditure against budgets.
- Communication with the municipal officials on a regular basis on issues of interest to the company.
- Preparation and maintenance of the members list.
- Engage new members in the company and make them aware of the services offered.
- Prepare agenda and minutes of meetings.
- Any specific tasks requested to be performed by Directors.

**Info**:

- Working hours form 09:00 to 12:00 on Monday to Friday except for attending board meetings every second month.
- Appointment will be for a twelve month cycle with the option to renew the contract after twelve months.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English and Afrikaans.
- Excellent management skills.
- Excellent ability to work with Word, Excel, Outlook, and general office tools required to prepare, share and maintain documents.
- Ability to engage on senior level with municipal officials.
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the workplace where these skills were applied.
- The person will be required to have access to a laptop computer to perform the above functions
