**POD Clerk - Durban**

**FUNCTION**: Ensure that all Supplier Invoices and PODs are received on time and updated accordingly on the database. The main function of the POD Clerk is to ensure that the information on the invoice corresponds with the information on the Purchase order i.e. client details, description of goods, and pricing.

**Working Hours: 11:00 - 20:00 (Mon-Fri)**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- 3 Years relevant experience in invoicing and/or similar role
- Basic Financial / accounting experience or Qualification
- Knowledge of the Road Freight Industry is advantageous
- Parcel Perfect proficient
- Grade 12
- High Level of administrative and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (Proficient in English & Afrikaans)
- Fully computer literate (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- MUST have Own transport

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Ensure all pod’s captured in the PP (Parcel Perfect) (compare captured with scanned daily)
- Ensure all pod’s scanned into PP (compare scanned to captured daily)
- Follow up on 3rd party pod’s and ensure all captured on PP
- Scan all 3rd party pod’s on PP
- Monitor “in spec” report to ensure that targeted delivery times are achieved and that exceptions are managed

**Salary**: R7,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)
