Production Foreman

**An Engieering Company in Krugersdorp is looking for a Experienced and Technically skilled Production Foreman** to maximize efficiency and productivity in the department, promote a happy, productive workplace where employees feel respected and valued while understanding the need for high productivity. The Forman is to drive the strategy of the company at own departmental level as well as management of change for the betterment of both Employees and the Company.
- Planning, Coordinating and Directing daily operations in department.
- Ensuring efficient planning for optimal performance of department
- Ensuring Discipline is kept to the company standard.
- Ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to at all times.
- Ensuring Quality Management System is followed at all times.
- Ensuring Down Time is controlled and kept to a minimum.
- Addressing Employees disputes, questions, and concerns.
- Training and coaching employees.
- Collaborate with management to deliver feedback and develop work strategies.
- Implement strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency.
- Compile reports when required.
- Manage breakdowns by utilising the service of maintenance department.
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained.
- Conduct performance reviews with employees.
- Assign duties to employees in the department.
- Interact with planners, maintenance, stores, quality control, human resources, and sales.

**E**ducation/**P**rofessional **Q**ualifications**
- Matric or equivalent plus relevant industry trade in related field of Fitting and Turning, Machining, Millwright,
- CNC setting/Programming
- MS office package
- Module on Navision will be advantageous.

**W**ork **E**xperience **& Skill requirement**
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in same or similar role.
- Must have hands on experience in a machining shop.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Great understanding of work optimization techniques.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Anticipate, detect, and address factors that impede operations.
- Must be able to multi-task effectively.
- Possesses computer skills.
- Must have worked in the engineering or related industry.
- Robotics knowledge will be advantageous.
- Understand software and programming languages for CNC machines.
