**Purpose**:
The main purpose is working in a mining equipment manufacturing workshop where you do assembly and service of equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Trade Tested as Fitter
- 5 years post trade experience of fitting with hydraulic systems in a manufacturing environment.

**Duties**:

- Build and repair Equipment.
- Render technical assistance on all machinery as required by your supervisor/foreman.
- Fluid control system or demonstrate troubleshooting abilities.
- Demonstrate integrated analytical and diagnostic skills in order to fault find, build and repair equipment and machinery during production/operation processes.
- Complex mechanical assemblies may include hydraulic and pneumatic on low profile mining machines.
- Where applicable adjustments include close tolerance adjusting, repairing, re-adjustment, re-setting and re-alignment.
- Monitoring and reporting on spares shock shortages.
- Report any NCRS to your foreman asap.
- At all times carry the correct / relevant equipment / tools to do the require site work / services.
- Perform any reasonable task as required by your supervisor at any time.
- Keep your workplace clean, tidy and safe as this is a Legal Requirement.
