**VACANCY**

**General Worker Paving**

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

**Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repairs of buildings, facilities, and equipment.**

**Duties**:
**-Paving**
**- Maintain workshop in a clean and orderly manner.**

**-Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.**

**-Contributing towards the smooth running of the team working and meet daily target.**

**-Inform the supervisor of any problems, defects, or non-conformities.**

**-Follow instructions specified in procedures from the line manager.**

**-Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.**

**-Ability to operate a variety of small hand tools.**
**- Assist other employees within the workplace.**

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**-Minimum Grade 10.**
**- 1-2 years’ experience as a general worker or equivalent.**

**-Paving certificate**

**COMPETENCIES**:
**-Initiative.**

**-Establish effective working relationships with employees and supervisor.**

**-Communication skills (written and verbal).**

**-Ability to work both independently and collaborative environment.**
**- Attention to detail and accuracy.**

**-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.**
