Conduct inspections and provide detailed reports on findings.
- Perform inspections, repairs and servicing in the workshop and external locations.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure their optimal functionality.
- Ensure accurate record keeping on job and time sheets.
- Manage and Control consumables.
- Adhere to the Standards of Business Conduct and company policies.
- Participate in training programs for professional development as required.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed within the scope of the role, including tasks outside of the job scope as necessary.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Qualified Millwright OR Trade + minimum 10 years Geared motor experience (Mechanical & Electrical)
- Excellent knowledge and working experience on Geared motors or drum motors
- The ability to read drawings (Mechanical: machining & assembly).
- Must understand the ISO tolerance tables - proven experience.
- Knowledge of the OSH Act
- Basic understanding of labor law
- Computer literacy (particularly Excel) is required.
- Syspro knowledge is advantageous.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills at all levels are essential.
- Must we willing and able to work overtime.
- Must be able to manage stock, including use of store requisition process.
- Ability to perform assigned tasks with mínimal supervision.
- High standards of workmanship with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and able to work under pressure.
- Positive team player with a “can do” attitude.

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
