Working in our small Business Intelligence team (BI) you will collaborate closely with colleagues in the BI Analytics area. Whilst they are providing the dashboards and data collection and production, you will be analysing and communicating relevant insights focused on operational efficiencies and profitability.

You will provide key stakeholders within the organisation with contextualised, data-driven, and actionable customer insights which accelerate commercial growth and inform strategic and operational business priorities. This is a stand alone role in a fast paced scale-up so you will need to be hands on and comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity and able to make strong commercial assumptions without perfect data sets.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Lead as an ambassador for analytics and insights, support others to improve and interpret data Create, track and prepare a wide range of reports that are accurate, clear and commercially focused
- Compare projections with actual outcomes, and advise company leaders on strategies to boost profits and productivity
- Ensure data and analysis is of high quality and accuracy, and work with a variety of qualitative and quantitative data
- Work with the BI Analysts and Data Engineers to support continuous improvement of data quality
- Source, collect and extract data that is accurate and fit for purpose, working with developers to configure, test and update configurations
- Work with project teams to procure, implement and validate appropriate analytics tools against identified performance measurement frameworks

**Skills and experience you will need to be successful in the role**:

- Solid experience working as an Insight Analyst in an international fast paced consumer business
- Experience within a scale up business is advantageous
- Thrive in a fast-moving and quickly changing environment
- Proven track record driving business growth through being able to identify key insights and commercial drivers from data
- Ability to communicate complex findings to key stakeholders in a simple way, with excellent data visualisation and storytelling skills
- You will need to enjoy engaging and influencing through data, a variety of stakeholders to help make positive changes
- Advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) and Tableau (essential)
- Experience of Incident / Problem or Change Management reporting tools (essential)
- Google Cloud business suite management experience (desired)

**Please note - Operational roles in our Contact Centre in Cape Town are fully office based. **Where we can support it, typical working patterns would be 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. However, we appreciate everyone’s situation is unique and are open to conversations.
