Responsible for managing outstanding debt in Cape Town region, overseeing credit control functions, and supporting financial administration. Matric with mathematics is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee credit control for Cape Town customers.
- Meet monthly collection targets and reduce days sales outstanding.
- Resolve queries related to delivery, returns, rebates, and claims promptly.
- Collaborate with Warehouse and Sales teams on credit control issues.
- Generate monthly debtor reconciliations.
- Address and follow up on daily outstanding queries.
- Prepare monthly cash flow and banking forecasts.
- Accurately process daily receipts and aging debtor accounts.
- Assist Cash Book Clerks in query resolution.
- Provide daily financial department support to Sales and Logistics.
- Report payment defaults to Regional Credit Manager.
- Maintain credit limits with Credit Guarantee.
- Handle monthly statements and closing procedures.
- Assist with overall financial administrative tasks in Cape Town branch when needed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of retail credit control experience.
- Advanced understanding of account reconciliations, credit terms, rebates, and related functions.
- Matric with mathematics required.
- Preferably possess a relevant financial tertiary qualification.
- Thrive in a high-pressure environment with a track record of meeting monthly targets.
- Strong reconciliation and administration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in calculations and working with numbers.
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- High attention to detail, finance oriented.
- Effective time management, deadline-driven, and skilled at prioritizing tasks.
- Mature, positive, and outgoing demeanour.
- Well-groomed and highly presentable.
- Self-sufficient and organized with strong collaboration and analytical abilities.
- Capable of managing stress and thriving in high-pressure environments.

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R200,000.00 per month
