**Job Purpose**:
The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to develop, facilitate/present training and development interventions to public servants of the Western Cape Government (WCG) and other identified public service entities in the Western Cape, as well as to promote and ensure the quality assurance of all training and development related processes at the Provincial Training Institute as a nationally accredited learning institution. This post is stationed in Kromme Rhee, Stellenbosch.

**Minimum Requirements**:
An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher) in Social Science or relevant field; A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience in the learning and development field.

**Recommendation**:
A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence Note: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities but have reasonable access to transport may also apply; Registration as an Assessor and Moderator.

**Key Performance Areas**:
Provide input into the development, updating and review of innovative and future-focused training curricula in compliance with PSETA Quality Assurance Partner (QAP) and SAQA requirements; Present/facilitate learning programmes and other interventions ensuring alignment with SAQA and ISO 2001:2015 requirement; Ensure that Quality Management System is mainstreamed in all business processes of People Training and Empowerment; Provide input in respect of the operational management of the Sub-Directorate

**Remuneration**:
R 382 245 per annum (Salary Level 9)

Note on remuneration: Cost-to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages for certain occupation-specific dispensations (OSD), the middle-management service (MMS) and contract positions are inclusive of all costs related to service benefits or obligations including basic salary, 13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc. MMS remuneration packages are flexible and may be individually structured as prescribed. Where remuneration is not indicated as CTE, employees' service benefits or obligations are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
