- Grade 12/Standard 10 (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate Basic Coal Preparation (Essential/Minimum)

**EXPERIENCE**:
2-3 years Relevant experience within a heavy industry/mining/ production environment (Essential/Minimum)Operational

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum)
- Competence: MS Office Relevant Package (Essential/Minimum)
- Competence: Discipline Specific Program (Essential/Minimum)

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Process Control**
- Control and oversee quality of products
- Perform basic production maintenance tasks
- Control dispatch of products within designated area
- Monitor process, conduct inspections and rectify sub-standard performance / conditions
- Assure plant control and product quality output

**Process Optimisation**
- Adhere to planned maintenance schedules
- Ensure optimal use of available resources, both people and equipment
- Assume responsibility for quality of maintenance and new installations in functional area

**Safe and Healthy Work Environment**
- Adhere to all health/safety practices and promote good housekeeping on an ongoing basis
- Address all unsafe practices/potential hazardous situations, rectify/report to superior
- Comply with Safety Health Environment and Community (SHEC)/technical requirements
- Wear applicable Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) at all times

**Technical Support**
- Maintain various types of mechanical equipment and machinery
- Communicate effectively and support maintenance personnel, line Supervisors/Foremen and related plant/mine personnel with ad hoc activities
