**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The purpose of this position is to ensure that group payroll processes are administered and supported correctly and efficiently. Support and administer the payroll daily operations and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with reconciliations and payroll payments.
**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support and supervise the payroll administrators with daily payroll operations per country
- Review all payroll hours imported for monthly and weekly payrolls via UKG Dimensions
- Assist Group Finance with all payroll reporting requests for month end, annual and payroll audit timelines. Taking ownership of payroll accounting deliverables in the team.
- Review weekly leave integration with UKG Dimensions & Sage 300 Payroll
- Review all payroll payments and submit to Payroll Manager for final approval
- Review all reconciliations and store splits for 3rd Party payments and Net Pay
- Responsible for Paymenow Deduction Bulk and Reconciliation Process
- Maintain and review payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting necessary changes
- Supervise the monthly Group Tax Validation Process. All mandatory master data must be up to date.
- Assisting the Payroll Manager with ad hoc duties and on-going projects
- Ownership of all SAGE 300 system reviews and escalate any anomalies to the payroll manager.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- SAGE 300 People
- Supervision of payroll team
- Knowledge and experience in African country payroll administration and payroll accounting.
- Experience working in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft, especially Excel.
**Desirable**:
- Large payroll experience (5000 and more employees)
- UKG Dimensions Workforce Management (Time & Attendance)
- Working experience of G-Suite.
- QSR or retail branch network experience.
