Triple Eight has an exciting opportunity for a senior creative copywriter /director
Do you have a passion for work that is meaningful, innovative, pioneering and progressive? Do you have experience in BTL and TTL marketing, digital and activations?

**Scope of work**:
You will be responsible for developing the overall creative process including strategy and copywriting for our clients as well as keep abreast of digital products & services to ensure that the creative team is executing at an award worthy level.
You will also be responsible for managing the creative teams and working with internal teams.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage and develop the creative and copywriting work within the agency
Develop creative and strategy presentations for blue-chip multinational brands with whom we work with
Research for proposals
Brainstorming creative and strategy ideas
Brief art team and freelancers
Drafting copy for presentations aligned to strategy
Editing and refining proposals ensuring the look and feel is correct, alignments and presentation is up to company standard including copywriting for these proposals
Draft press releases and client report backs
Co-ordinating all new briefs and deadline and delivery management
Work with suppliers to ensure they can deliver anything proposed
Website content, social media management
Assist with creative campaign development across Africa, developing creative guidelines, directing creative work and briefing the art director and managing creative and copy. This role requires strong creative capabilities in the marketing, creative, communications and digital departments. This individual will invent new ideas for branding and marketing messages which is based on a solid understanding of the market to ensure work is always relevant, if not ahead of the times.
Assist in execution of campaigns where required, including monitoring execution and ensuring the production teams are executing according to specifications
Deliver world class creative work through the creative team as well as individually for our clients
Direct the creative functionalities of concept development, collaborate with team members, create a good work environment, meet work expectations and discus team goals and achievements
Develop the creative product as per the highest industry standards
Develop and grow the awards strategy to win more awards
Provide strategic solutions that are relevant to the industry and target audience of the brand
Accommodate the client's needs and requirements as per the marketing goals and strategies, create unique brand promotion concepts in accordance with the client's budget and translate the client's briefs into a creative visual experience
Collaborate with the creative team for processing the client's projects in a specified manner, assign duties to creative, and lead the team in carrying out production activities
Keep track of latest trends in creative direction and understand the progress in digital technologies such as social platform features, web 3.0 etc.
Collaborate with working partners for strategising the progress of creative functionalities and make relevant changes for competing with market standards
Direct activities for professional development of organisational team members, conduct creative workshops for staff members, implement corrective strategies in promotional activities and recommend promotions for team members based on their performance
Make important decisions that ensure the organisational profitability without compromising the creative quality of the project; direct constant improvement in creative quality and enhance the design capability for accomplishing the task
Manage external agents like photographers, production companies, freelancers, etc., and manage them according to the work of art directors, copywriters and other post-production employees
Connect regularly with all creative staff to ensure personal development, accountability, growth opportunities and cultural positivity
Keep abreast of digital and advertising trends in accordance with industry best practice

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing/event management/advertising fields
Exceptional copy writing skills
Strong strategic thinking and creative ability
Minimum 6-8 years working experience in an agency environment with BTL and TTL
Strong copy writing Capability (this will be tested)
Graphic Design, Illustrator and photoshop experience is an advantage
Strong presentation skills
Impeccable attention to detail must be displayed
