**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years senior guide experience at a 4/5 star establishment (Essential)
- Previous head guide experience. (Essential)
- CATHSSETA Registered Guide preferred.
- FGASA Level 2. (Essential)
- Full Trails Qualification
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- ARH and Rifle proficiency
- SAPS Competency Certificate
- Computer Literate
- Driver’s License and Pr-DP

**Description**:

- Monitor, manage and assume responsibility of the guiding department
- Evaluate, mentor and train staff
- Provide leadership, guidance and counselling to team members
- Follow all procedures for maintaining the overall operation of the Guides and Safari department, including individual, family & kids’ safari experiences, Safety, excellent Guest and Staff relations, Hosting of Guests and all equipment, vehicles and assets
- Perform all Field Guide functions according to the standards of FGASA, including Guest introductory and Safety orientations, Guided game drives and interpretive bush walks, tracking, identification of spoor, delivering informative lectures on relevant ecological topics, drink Stops and other bush events.

- R 15 000 - R18 000 pm (Depending on experience)
