**Job brief**

We are looking for a young and energetic Marketing Assessor to do site inspections and verify details of assets and perform the necessary assessments and valuations.

In this role you will be traveling between several locations where inspections need to be done.

In this position you will be required to have your own vehicle with a valid driver’s license, as you will be on the road a lot.

**What is the purpose of a Marketing Assessor?**

The main purpose of the Marketing Assessor is to evaluate and assess various assets on behalf of the company. This typically involves conducting thorough inspections, analysing data, and determining the value, condition, or performance of assets such as properties, equipment, or financial investments.

The primary goal of a Marketing Assessor is to provide accurate and reliable assessments that helps the organization make informed decisions in business deals. This may include determining the fair market value of assets, assessing potential risks or liabilities associated with them, identifying opportunities for optimization or cost-saving measures, and providing recommendations for asset management strategies.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough assessments and appraisals of various assets, including real estate properties, vehicles, machinery, or equipment.
- Ensure all details on contracts and agreements correlated with the physical details on site.
- Taking photographs as evidence at site inspections, and preparing detailed reports and documentation with the necessary.
- Evaluate the value of machinery, equipment, or specialized assets for financing, insurance, or sales purposes.
- Advise clients on asset values, market trends, and sales strategies to maximize returns.
- Actively coordinate deals and sales transactions.
- Prepare detailed appraisal reports and provide accurate valuation estimates.
- Collaborate with financing teams to assist in the assessment of asset values for loan approvals or financing decisions.
- Act as a sales agent to market and sell assets to potential buyers, leveraging appraisal expertise to negotiate fair prices.
- Research market conditions, comparable sales data, and industry trends to determine fair market values.
- Maintain relationships with clients, buyers, and industry professionals to generate leads and facilitate asset transactions.
- Research, track, maintain and update leads.
- Research and maintain lead generation database.
- Provide accurate and timely information to management.
- Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s products and services in order to facilitate the sales process.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Providing consistent, concise, accurate internal and external communications.
- Providing consistent, concise, accurate and timely weekly/monthly sales lead gen activity reports to management.
- Achieving sales lead generation and appointment quotas.
- Obtain new relationships with suppliers within our product range and services.
- Service existing relationships with suppliers.
- Liaising with clients for information.
- Compiling and management of pipeline reports.
- Ad-hoc duties that might be needed within the business.

**Requirements and skills**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with research and maintaining databases.
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in using CRM.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and task driven.
- People’s person and good with maintaining relationships.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Show a proven track record achieving sales lead gen and appointment quotas.
- Must have a degree in BCom Economics or similar.
- 1-2-year(s) experience in Lead Generation and Sales.
- NCA registered will be an advantage.
