In search of a Print Operator who will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality print products. This includes setting up, operating, and troubleshooting printing machines, as well as performing routine maintenance and repairs. Must be prepared to work nightshift.

**Minimum requirements**
- Matric/Grade 12
- 3 to 5 years previous experience operating printing equipment, preferably in a production environment.
- Knowledge of different types of printing equipment and processes.

**Key Outputs**

1. Operate and maintain printing equipment to produce high-quality print products, including adjusting print settings, loading substrates and ink, and performing quality control checks.

2. Perform routine maintenance on printing machines, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, head tests done daily with a log of each printer with fault codes.

3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printing equipment, such as error codes, misaligned prints, and equipment malfunctions.

4. Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure that all print products are completed on time and meet the required quality standards and placed outside the print room upon completion.

5. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when operating printing equipment and report any safety concerns to management immediately.

6. Maintain accurate records of print production, including print orders, job progress, stock sheets and any issues that may arise during production.

7. Remain up to date with new printing technology and techniques and make recommendations for process improvements to management.
