Riviera, a Hotel situated on the beautiful beach of Seapoint seeks the service of a Food & Beverage Manager for our Coffee Shop

We require a person with previous restaurant experience, a great inspiring leader, prepared to lead by example and work hard - have a good track record - great people skills and have lots of energy.
- All duties associated with the management and control of the assets of the resorts
- Assistance in any food outlets, services, resorts, or any other activities carried out by the Group
- The Management of the performance of all staff and contract personnel employed at the resort
- Ensuring that all policies and standards set by the Management Agent of the employer are strictly always adhered to, with reference to the ongoing maintenance of all buildings, equipment, and furnishing, including the provision of guest’s services, financial controls and administration
- Ensuring that all staff and contract personnel employed at the resort are always properly and adequately trained and fully conversant with all aspects of the duties they are required to perform
- The implementation of all systems, facilities and structures as determined by the employer from time to time
- The management and reporting on all such areas as determined by the Employer’s policy and procedures
- Complete 10, 20 & month end Food & Beverage stock counts with KPI’s
- Maintain a Group Standard cost of sale for both Food & Beverage
- Drive new initiatives aimed at generating revenue
- Target/budget driven
- Constantly review the business performance & drive all promotions/marketing of the business
- Responsible for recipe costings & cost of sale for menu items
- Able to be creative with food and beverage specials
- Hands on approach

**COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**
- Strong Managerial Skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong Project Management skills
- Decision making and problem solving
- Strong financial acumen and administration skills
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management
- Minimum 3 Years’ experience in Food and Beverage
- Fully computer literate
- Experience working on Micros
