A boutique accounting and consulting firm is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team to service an overseas large corporation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Record, verify, consolidate, and enter transactions
- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain general ledger, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
- Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements (including a cash flow tracker)
- Maintaining the debtors and creditors cycles
- Statutory fillings
- Review tax computations
- Assist with the preparation of schedules for the external audit
- Maintenance of the bank accounts
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers
- Assist with business processes and the detailing thereof

Education and Experience:

- CA (SA)
- Completed SAICA articles at a Mid-Tier firm (preferable)
- Post articles experience would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills

Other requirements:

- Must be able to work remotely
- Must be able to work without supervision
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: R60,000.00 - R65,000.00 per month
