Infield Fibre Technician

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Attend to FTTB and FTTH client related issue, to restore interrupted services
- Investigate and repair Network breakdowns
- Complete Routine Maintenance inspections and reporting
- Perform Preventative maintenance task and reporting
- Manage warehouse stock
- Compile costing reports of daily task
- Survey and design of bespoke builds
- Compile costing of bespoke builds
- Install Drop connections.
- Comply to Occupational Health and Safety

Education
- Certified Optical Fibre Installer (COFI) obtained from an accredited OTT institution.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of fibre rollout projects and/or maintenance.
- Worked as part of a team responsible for infrastructure deployment.
- Vetro FibreMap experience will be an added advantage.

- Manage workflows and resources
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- A desire to work in a challenging, fast paced environment;
- Valid Driving license;
- Based in Paarl;
- Contactable references from previous employers are a requirement -preferably direct line managers;

Pay: R230 000,00 per year
