Freelance Podcast Host

Are you charismatic, energetic, and can perform in front of an audience?

We are looking to talented host who will break down the top storylines, interesting news stories, subplots happening in and around pop culture, technology, entertainment and money spaces. We are looking for someone with original and informed opinions, and help deliver top-level content on a weekly basis. This is an **audio-only podcast **so there's no expectations for host to be on camera.

**Primary Skills**
- Strong hosting/presenting skills with ability to improvise occasionally.
- Memorize and deliver script lines where necessary.
- Experience performing in front of an audience.
- Fluent in English and at least 2 traditional South African languages i.e Sotho,Zulu, Tswana
- Some experience with radio presenting.
- Dependable, extremely flexible and able to work within high-pressure and high-stress environments with long hours
- Must be 20 years or older to apply, not exceed 35 years old.

**What You will Be doing**:

- Work collaboratively with the podcast writer and producer.
- Attend sessions for episode research and script writing.
- Travel to studio to record the podcast episode each week.
- Interview business entrepreneurs, entertainers, actressesng, professionals, chefs, influencers and more.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to write scripts, do rehearsals and produce a specific style of presenting.
- Work closely with the producer to bring the very best experience for audience
- Read and compile background research on guests and topics discussed.

**Job Types**: Temporary, Internship
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: R800.00 - R1,500.00 per day
