**POSITION PURPOSE**

The role of the person in this position is to assist the quality inspectors in readying the documentation needed for completion on all quality certificates as well as being responsible for all incoming equipment and material checks.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- Engineering related qualification
- Must have a working command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Be able to learn how to read and understand all types of BAC drawings (assembly, fabrication, welding).
- Be able to use and understand the following measurement equipment: micrometers, tape measure, vernier calipers, dial calipers.
- Understand and interpret quality standards.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Basic PC knowledge
- Good organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to understand and react to job schedules
- Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to change.
- Knowledge of lean principles would be advantages.
- Maintain regular attendance and be punctual
- Be aware of normal hazards and take appropriate action.

**NATURE & SCOPE**

Quality inspectors will report to the plant Quality Engineer. The position will have interactions with all departments in the organization.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Complete all incoming inspections on materials and equipment that is identified as critical to final quality of the units.
- Document and inspect units during dispatch and shipping.
- Preparation of QC documentation for in process and final inspection
- Scanning in and storing of completed QC documentation
- Complete inspections on all coils (galvanized and stainless steel) and do repairs where were necessary
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned by Quality Engineer.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk up to 80% of the working time. Working conditions include those of a normal construction environment, as well as standard hazards associated with installed HVAC equipment and rotating equipment. This position requires occasional lifting of up to 15 kg.
