**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- A bookkeeping course/diploma/or studying to complete degree/diploma (advantage)
- At least 3 years' experience in Payroll
- Payroll systems experience, VIP Payroll is essential
- SAP Business One & Sage Online (Advantage)
- Strong financial background would be an advantage
- Experience in SARS e-filing would be an advantage
- Excellent administrative skills, attention to detail ,and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and must be flexible
- Ability to work in a team or independently
- Ability to work without supervision
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Must be able to prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is essential
- Numerical accuracy and high methodical working methods are required
- Proficient in Afrikaans and English

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of al payroll data for Salaries
- Receives salary inputs (Monthly Pay run) to ensure that lawful and accurate deductions and payments are made to employees.
- Updating salary register, salary schedules and payroll with new employees, resignations, retirements, retrenchments, and other changes on a monthly basis.
- Monitoring standing deductions for garnishees orders, loan repayments, maintenance orders and sundries.
- Extracting GL reports for the Finance department.
- Reporting - prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports, e.g. monthly payroll reports. Any reports requested by Directors, Finance Department or HR Department.
- Prepare payroll reconciliations.
- Loan account reconciliations.
- Bargaining Council reconciliations and Trade Union.
- Reporting - Internal and External.
- Payroll system management.
- SARS E-filing - EMP201, EMP501 Submissions / Processing Tax Directives.
- SARS Easyfile - Tax Year End Preparation and Submission.
- COIDA Preparation / Submission including monthly Provision.
- Monthly provisional reports.
- Ensure all payments are correct and made in time, electronic payslips and confirmation of employment according to the procedure.
- Admin and filing related to payroll.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Montague Gardens, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Payroll software: 2 years (preferred)
