**Job description**

Job Title: Physics and Maths Tutor (Discord)

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with learners on Discord to provide assistance with Physics and Maths questions
- Break down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations tailored for a 5-year-old's level of comprehension
- Respond to learner queries within 4 hours of receiving them on Discord
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to help them grow and improve

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Maths (preferred)
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in Physics and/or Maths
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners of all ages and skill levels
- Familiarity with Discord and its features
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, online setting
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Patient, empathetic, and approachable demeanour
