**Job Advert Summary**:
A leadership role reporting to the Senior Operations Manager in the PPS Mutual area. The focus of the Technical Support Team Manager role is driving and maintaining the technical team’s performance by leading from the front and managing the support provided by the team to our business. This include the quality standards, staff development and ensuring the business SLA are reached with a key focus in delivering exceptional service.
This role requires an individual who is highly focused, energetic, responsible and willing to work non-standard business hours, which will entail shift work, and required to have own transport.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Matric.
- Post Matric qualification in business related studies or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business related studies or equivalent an advantage.

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- 3 - 4 years’ service and administration experience.
- 1 - 3 years team leader experience will be an advantage.
- 3+ years industry experience will be an advantage.
- Coaching skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities, meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record in establishment new networks and collaborative relationships

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Working with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service to all customers according to the published service levels and quality standards.
- Cultivate a performance driven team collaborating with all the business units within PPS Mutual.
- Implement and manage effective systems and practices.
- Continuously analyse and interpret data to identify optimisation opportunities, gaps and risks within the Operations area.
- Ensuring that the team is adequately skilled and trained to support all business units
Responsible for active resource balancing using resources efficiently and cost-effectively based on demand.
- Find solutions to Reduce manual intervention.
- Manage and Assist with Business testing through the process.
- Continuously improve quality of service delivery through identification of issues on Tier 1 systems that prohibits delivering the expected service
