Senior Bookkeeper position available for a Company in the Industrial/Automotive Industries in Roodepoort. Looking for an organized individual who is detail-oriented, bilingual (Afrikaans and English), vibrant, and who has a good understanding of financial reconciliations. Good communication skills are essential.

**Duties & Responsibilities of Bookkeeper position**:

- Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
- Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
- Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
- Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
- Coordinating international payments, debtors, and salary payments.
- Maintains historical records by filing documents.
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Debtors and Creditors experience.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**:

- Afrikaans and English as first and second languages are a must.
- Matric / Grade 12
- Financial / Accounting qualification(s).
- Sound recent practical Bookkeeping to Trial Balance experience a must.
- Independently functional
- Fully computer literate in MS Office and Sage.
- SARS statutory experience
- Stable employment record and contactable references
- To start as soon as possible

Salary : Negotiable depending on experience

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Roodepoort, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
