New available position - **Senior Bookkeeper, Roodepoort, R45k CTC**
- To start as soon as possible.
- Reports to Financial Manager - Group Payroll
- **B.Com Financial Accounting Degree**:

- **SAP experience.**

Responsible for recording and maintaining financial transactions and duties. The main responsibilities are the management and balancing of the Group Salary Clearing Account and the management and submission as well as the compliance of the bi-annual and annual SARS EMP501 submissions for the Group.

**Key Duties**:

- Reconciliation of the Salary Clearing Account
- Management and effective clearing of unreconciled items
- Prepare and process monthly Provisions and Accruals
- PSIRA Administration, Returns and Compliance
- Compliance checking relating to weekly Payment runs
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Application and record keeping of Tax Directives
- Submission of UIF declaration and ensuring compliance
- Submit copy IRP5's to employees as and when requested
- Check and Comply with Retirement Fund rates and rules
- Bargaining Councils rates, rules and calculations, maintenance of employee status and banking details, submission of monthly contributions online
- IT88 SARS monthly download, reconciliation, and preparation of monthly deductions
- Medical aid reconciliations and submission
- Examining financial records to check for accuracy, advising on discrepancies
- Assist with tasks as and when required by the Payroll Finance office.

**Must have qualification**:

- BCOM Financial Accounting Degree - NON NEGOTIABLE
- SAP experience a must. - NON NEGOTIABLE.
