Legal Litigation Assistant

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist attorneys with preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and statutes to support litigation proceedings.
- Maintain case files and ensure all documents are organized and up-to-date
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, hearings, and court appearances for attorneys.
- Prepare exhibits, evidence, and other materials for use in court proceedings.
- Assist attorneys during trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing documents and providing administrative support.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and faxing legal documents.
- Stay updated on changes in legal regulations and procedures relevant to litigation cases.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field.
- Previous experience working in a legal environment, preferably in litigation.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and principles.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

**Salary**: R12 000,00 - R12 500,00 per month
