A sports company in PAARDEN EILAND is looking for a Barista to work shifts, living close or in surrounding areas.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Customer Service**:

- Always provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
- Assist customers with enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor, addressing their needs promptly.

**Beverage Preparation**:

- Prepare a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, juice, milkshakes, and smoothies, meeting the required standards for taste and presentation.
- Maintain a consistent high quality of beverages to enhance customer satisfaction.

**Product Knowledge and Merchandising**:

- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the menu, products, and pricing to assist customers effectively.
- Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products in the coffee shop.

**Sales Operations**:

- Perform sales transactions for all stocked products using the Speedpoint and POS system competently.
- Perform sales transactions for all Coffee/Milkshakes, smoothies etc.

**Daily Setup and Maintenance**:

- Maintain a proper and adequate setup of the kitchen, workstation, and tables on a daily basis.
- Pack shelves and fridges
- Wash, dry, and pack away dirty dishes promptly.
- Conduct inventory checks of items and stock purchased.

**Cash Handling**:

- Cash up sales at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy in transactions.

**Cleanliness and Hygiene**:

- Clear and clean tables in the coffee shop area regularly to provide a welcoming environment for patrons.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work area at all times to meet health and safety standards.

**Personal Appearance**:

- Ensure you are neatly dressed and groomed in the assigned uniform to present a professional image.

**Equipment Management**:

- Ensure all equipment are clean and in working order
- Report any damaged, faulty, or missing equipment to Management immediately for prompt resolution.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 45 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Paardeneiland, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
