**Job Overview**:
**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Maintain workflow by motivating drivers and vehicle loading assistants to work fast and correctly
- Check that drivers and vehicle loading assistants are at work and report absentees timeously to Logistics manager
- Ensure that drivers and vehicle loading assistants plus you are wearing clean undamaged protective clothing as per company policy
- Assist the Logistics Manager in planning the daily dispatch routes and loading activities
- Source completed invoices from invoicing personnel
- Ensure that all routes are documented on the trip sheet allocated to the delivery route
- Ensure that all individual orders are marked off on the correct invoice copy when loading
- Ensure that drivers and vehicle loading assistants adhere to your instructions and perform their duties as per their job descriptions
- Coordinate and control loading of final orders
- Ensure products is checked for deviations from quality standards such as labels, lot or batch numbers and packaging before loading
- Ensure all products are correctly weighed before loading
- Ensure good housekeeping practices in the dispatch area
- Implement and maintain measures to reduce wastage of and damage to stock being loaded
- Ensure that temperature controls for the dispatch area and all products to be loaded are adhered to
- Train new personnel in loading actions
