**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensuring that all categories and departments are performing to maximum profitability
- Ensuring that stock is managed in accordance with established company policies & procedures
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and well merchandised retail area
- Maintaining all pricing on product, shelf and bulk displays in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assist with cash ups
- Staff management
- Monitoring and managing performance of sales staff
- Customer service
- Assisting with all operational duties of the Store Manager
- Must be able to assist the manager in all aspects of his/her duties
- Must be able to perform managers role in their absence
- To uphold and promote the company values and culture

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric/Grade 12
- Higher Certificate / Diploma
- 4 years relevant experience in a retail environment, 2 of which must have been in a supervisory/management position
- Intermediate computer skills
