**Dispatch Checker**

**Position**: Dispatch Checker

**Reporting to**: Outbound Supervisor

**Location**: Linbro, Johannesburg

An exciting opportunity has become available in our warehouse. The purpose of the Dispatch Checker is to validate
(quality and quantity) picked stock pre-despatch and to ensure that stock is dispatched on-time and in full to the designated route.

**Key Job Functions**
- Ensure that the correct stock is loaded for customers.
- All picked stock to be checked and verified before dispatch. (FS deliveries, 3rd party, inter depot, IRL,WW and retail orders)
- Ensuring that no stock is dispatched without the correct documentation.
- Ensuring OTIF deliveries to customers.
- Ensuring vehicles are loaded on-time as per loading schedule (productivity)
- Chep pallet administration
- Reporting on all damages in the dispatch area
- Assist with periodic stock counts
- Ensuring that PPE discipline is maintained at all times.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards.
- All invoices are executed as per route sheets
- Re-labelling of IRL Orders and re-packing of orders as per customer request.
- Truck inspection list are completed daily for local and 3rd party trucks.
- POD control for all deliveries.
- Driver debrief (load and fleet, fuel slips)
- Returns (GSRs) checked / validated and record details and forward to Administration for processing

**Knowledge and Experience Required**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a FMCG Warehouse
- Knowledge of Inventory and Stock Control (FIFO)
- Good knowledge of warehouse functions
- Computer literacy (E-mail, Basic knowledge of Excel)
- Knowledge of scheduling, staging, tracking of fleet.

- Good communication skills both verbally and written
