Maintenance/ Admin Controller

**Maintenance Manager / Admin / Stock Controller Lodge Couple**

World Class 5* Game Lodge - Mpumalanga

Assume full responsibility for maintaining the overall operation and administration of the maintenance department, as well as the appearance and working order of the interior and exterior of the property, including landscaping, swimming pool maintenance, and all other facilities and equipment.

**Him - Maintenance Management Requirements**:
Matric/Grade 12 and a Tertiary education related to maintenance management
- Valid Driver’s License
- Sound experience in Hospitality-Private Game Lodge environment, and at least 4 - 5 years proven track record of Maintenance Management.
- To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the property’s policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
- Sound Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Administration and Financial Competence)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Understanding of African languages will be an added language.
- Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control and practicing honest communication.
- Excellent time management and self-discipline, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, use initiative and creative flair when required.

Sound overall maintenance knowledge - All-rounder carpentry and building maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems, water purification systems, swimming pool filtration and water systems, plumbing systems, air conditioning systems, gas heating systems, safe operation of hand and power tools, diesel generators and pumps, building maintenance, appliances and small equipment maintenance and repair.

**Main Tasks**:

Overseeing the running of the maintenance departments at all four lodges.

Staff management - Overseeing four departments. Duty and leave rostering

Coordinate and manage maintenance and repairs to structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Coordinate and manage services, maintenance and repairs of geysers, heating and air conditioning systems, and water systems including pumps.
Ensure an effective cost management with regards to all repairs, maintenance, and gardens operations, in line with maintenance budgets, improvement plans, preventative maintenance schedules, short term projects, and maintenance contracts.
Monitor energy expenditure.
Monitor and verify the maintenance of the property’s collective equipment.

**She - Administrative assistant / Stock Controller** Requirements:
Have strong linguistic and inter-personal skills

Have excellent organisational skills

Strong financial acumen

Be competent with the following computer programs - Microsoft Word, Excel,

Any property management system will be an advantage

Be good at multitasking and problem solving

**Salary R 35 000 Maintenance Manager - including accommodation and meals on duty**

The accommodation provided is a two-bedroom dwelling. Couples with children are welcome to apply

**Education**:

- swimming pool: 4 years (preferred)
- Electrical, Refrigeration, Air conditioning: 5 years (preferred)
