**Professoraat / Medeprofessoraat**
- Die breë strategiese bestuur en akademiese beplanning van die Finansiële Risikobestuurafdeling wat insluit:

- Die primêre kontakpunt vir alle Finansiële Risikobestuur navrae vanaf binne die Universiteit, ouers en voogde, studente, industrie-vennote en werwingsagentskappe;
- Koördineer alle voor
- en nagraadse programme en modules in Finansiële Risikobestuur;
- Neem leiding in die uitbreiding van die Finansiële Risikobestuur akademiese aanbod van die Departement;
- Oriëntasie van nagraadse studente;
- Die koördinering en werwing van nagraadse eksterne dosente uit die industrie;
- Die werwing en bestuur van 'n potensiële eksterne inkomste stroom vanaf die finansiële sektor;
- Hulpverlening met die Departement se skakeling en uitbou van verhoudinge met die finansiële industrie en die werwing en bestuur van borgskappe;
- Wees 'n lid van die senior bestuurspan van die Departement.
- Die onderrig en ontwikkeling van voor
- en nagraadse kursusse in Finansiële Risikobestuur;
- Deelname aan en leiding van die Departement se navorsingsaktiwiteite in Finansiële Risikobestuur;
- Verskaf studieleiding aan nagraadse studente.

**Professor / Associate Professor**:

- The broader strategic management of, as well as academic planning within the Financial Risk Management Division, including:

- The primary contact point for all Financial Risk Management queries within the University, for parents and guardians, students, industry partners and recruitment agencies;
- Coordinating all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and modules in Financial Risk Management;
- Playing a leading role in expanding the academic offering of Financial Risk Management in the Department;
- Orientation of postgraduate students;
- Coordinating and recruiting postgraduate external lecturers from the industry;
- Recruiting and managing a potential external income stream from the financial sector;
- Assisting the Department's liaison with the financial industry and the recruitment and management of bursaries;
- Being a member of the senior management team of the Department.
- Teaching and developing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Financial Risk Management;
- Participating and taking a leading role in the Department's research activities in Financial Risk Management;
- Providing supervision to postgraduate students.

**Professor**:

- 'n PhD in Wiskundige Wetenskappe (Finansiële Risikobestuur, Wiskundige Statistiek, of Finansiële Wiskunde);
- Bewese ervaring van dosering op voor
- en nagraadse vlak in Wiskundige Wetenskappe;
- Bewese ervaring met die ontwikkeling van voor
- en nagraadse modules in Wiskundige Wetenskappe;
- Bewese ervaring met die bestuur en koördinering van 'n akademiese omgewing ten opsigte van akademiese modules, programme en personeel;
- Bewese navorsingsuitsette ten op sigte van Wiskundige Wetenskappe in geakkrediteerde vakkundige joernale;
- Bewese ervaring met nagraadse studieleiding aan Meesters en Doktorale studente in Wiskundige Wetenskappe, veral binne die veld van kwantitatiewe Finansiële Risikobestuur/Risiko-analise;

- A PhD in Mathematical Sciences (Financial Risk Management, Mathematical Statistics, or Financial Mathematics);
- Proven lecturing experience of Mathematical Sciences at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Proven experience in the development of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Mathematical Sciences;
- Proven experience in the management and coordination of academic environments with respect to academic modules, programmes and staff;
- Proven record of research output with respect to the Mathematical Sciences in accredited scientific journals;
- Proven experience in providing postgraduate supervision to Master's and Doctoral students in the Mathematical Sciences, especially within the field of quantitative Financial Risk Management/Risk Analysis;
