- Reporting to Head of Business Development and Marketing- Summary of Role:
- The brand and communications manager implements the Company's brand corporate identity and Product brand(s) all the internal and external communication elements to optimally position the Company as the organisation of choice. This includes all elements of the brand communications: branding, logos, signatures, fonts, Public Relations (PR) and communication platforms such as social media and websites. The brand and communications manager undertakes brand marketing, managing all external marketing events, other departmental events (e.g. Safety, HR) and supporting regional events. This includes sales conferences, product launches, customer events and key stakeholder events.- Brand Management:
- Responsible for developing and implementing marketing promotional and branding materials and tools designed to support business initiatives.- Brand compliance - Ensures correct branding Corporate Identity (CI) and/or product brand(s), brand name convention, identity and marketing messages on our corporate stationery, invoices, website, marketing collateral etc- Monitors and evaluates branding and marketing activities in accordance with marketing policies and processes.- Creates standard templates and checklists for all marketing events for monitoring and quality assurance.- Identifies, develops, and manages new and existing branding opportunities and input into marketing plans.- Supports all advertising and promotional campaigns with brand communications.- Manages the agency/publisher that produces collateral to ensure the accuracy and professionalism of contents in terms of grammar and layout.- Prepares the new member toolkit for new members joining the Company- Internal and External communication:
- Works closely with the local Marketing, Sales & Innovation teams, plans and delivers external communication to our customers and other stakeholders, designed to positively impact and differentiate the external brand image, to create value for the businesses and to drive sales.- Supports the development of a robust and effective internal communications strategy.- Provides strategic communication leadership for internal partners (Health & Safety, Marketing, Human Resources) to deliver high-impact, effective campaigns.- Liaises with external communication agencies to manage their performance in support of the focus areas of business.- Develops solid knowledge of customer targets to ensure relevance of customer communications.- Social Media:
- Content bank: manage the social media content funnel for the Company and relevant commercial brands across Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn etc. The Company's central communications owns the overarching corporate LinkedIn strategy.- Strategies: create, review and analyse strategies and constantly research new social media ideas and campaigns.- Schedule/post: schedule/post monthly approved content.- Community Manage: handle all day-to-day conversation and responding to communities in a timely manner.- Boosting: create boosting strategies - identifying best target audiences for multiple channels.- Reporting: compile monthly social media reports - monitor, track, analyse and report on performance of the brand across multiple channels.- Competitor Analysis: analyse competitor activity and report back.- Digital Management:
- Brand & Communications Manager is responsible for other digital assets i.e developing and managing websites, for Search Engine Optimisation, adverts, newsletters, brochures etc.- Drives the regular production of a staff newsletter by sourcing interesting content from other departments to ensure staff is aware of what the other departments are doing, as well as ensuring staff is updated.- Event Management:
- Responsible for developing and managing sponsorship support material, events and tradeshows and other marketing communication activities and tools.- HR:
- Responsible for living our leadership principles and demonstrating the Company's values measured through retention, employee engagement.- Demonstrate a constant desire to improve and develop the skills necessary to perform your role effectively and successfully.- General:
- Adhere to Company always defined processes and controls and act responsibly towards company property- Always promote a positive image of the Company in the marketplace and act as a “best example” to colleagues.- Perform any other tasks as might reasonably be requested by your Line Manager-
