Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a Duty Manager for a luxury 5-star hotel renowned for providing exceptional hospitality experiences to its guests. As a Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel and ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction. This position requires a strong leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering impeccable service.

Key Responsibilities:
Guest Relations:

- Ensure that all guests receive a warm welcome and are attended to promptly and courteously.
- Handle guest complaints, inquiries, and special requests efficiently and professionally.
- Act as a point of contact for VIP guests, ensuring personalized attention and exceptional service.

Operations Management:

- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments.
- Coordinate with department heads to maintain high-quality standards throughout the property.
- Monitor and maintain the hotel's appearance and cleanliness to reflect the Hotel's luxury brand image.

Staff Supervision and Training:

- Lead and motivate the hotel staff, fostering a positive and cohesive team environment.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure all employees are well-informed and updated on hotel policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to staff, ensuring their professional growth and development.

Safety and Security:

- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, minimizing potential risks to guests and staff.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, accidents, or incidents, implementing appropriate measures as needed.

Revenue and Cost Management:

- Assist in monitoring revenue streams and identifying opportunities for upselling and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to control operational costs without compromising on service quality.

Shift Management:

- Oversee the smooth transition between shifts, ensuring effective communication and handovers.
- Maintain a strong presence during peak hours and special events to address any issues promptly.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain the highest levels of quality and service delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to make quick, well-informed decisions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software.
- A flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A commitment to maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence in service.
