**This is a full-time position in the Learning and Development Department. There will be a 3-month probation period.**

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- BA(Ed), BSc or BCom.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in teaching/tutoring.
- Facilitator/Assessor qualifications (advantageous).

**SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Passion for teaching.
- Excellent mathematics skills.
- Dependability.
- Trustworthiness.
- Intrinsic motivation.
- Patience.
- Independent team player.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to train junior to senior and management level staff.
- Strong command of English in communication.
- No criminal record or bad credit history (required for working with potentially sensitive data in the Financial Services domain).

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Tutoring individual and small group weekly classes for adult learners on Zoom.
- Facilitation of customised mathematics syllabus which covers arithmetic, algebra, data science, financial maths and geometry from grade 9 to 1st year university levels.
- Content development on the customised syllabus.
- Administrative duties including maintenance of registers, database records, reporting.
- Participation in weekly focus groups.
- Participation in weekly departmental mentoring with Senior Manager.

**Salary**: R26 000,00 - R28 000,00 per hour
