Our client, a well-established, trusted and highly successful corporate commodity trading company, specializing in physical deliveries on an international basis, has an exciting permanent COMMODITY TRADER position available.

This includes energy or agricultural commodities.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in your specific commodity arena across a physically traded product.
- Proven track record of profitability and self-managed trading portfolio.
- Well-established relationships in the market.
- Excellent network and contacts within the commodity trading space on both supply and sales sides.
- A relevant post-graduate qualification but not essential.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to solve problems creatively.
- Excellent communication as well as language skills.

**Competencies**:

- Ability to work and interact well with others.
- Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills preferred (Advanced)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work at a very detailed level

**Remuneration**:

- Negotiable, depending on experience.
