**REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRABLE SKILLS**
- Minimum Matric/Grade 12;
- Legal Secretary / paralegal / conveyancing qualification advantageous;
- Minimum 2-5 years conveyancing experience;
- Sound computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft Excel)
- Knowledge of Sectional titles;
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans;
- Good writing and verbal communication skills with good telephone etiquette;
- Detail-orientated with excellent organisational skills;
- Deadline driven and quality-focused;
- Ability to work accurately, efficiently and effectively;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to work overtime when required to do so;
- Confident with the ability to work under pressure and remain positive and focused at all times;
- Resourceful, self-motivated with a sense of urgency and strong work ethic; and
- Trustworthy and reliable with a high level of integrity.

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING**
- Manage the FICA administration process;
- Taking transfer instructions, including estate-, property development
- and sectional title transfers;
- Ensures effective diary management and meeting co-ordination;
- Typing and formatting letters, correspondence, legal documents and commercial agreements (copy typing required);
- Incorporating amendments to legal documents and commercial agreements;
- Conducting property, person and company searches;
- Maintaining/updating client contact details;
- Preparing client files;
- Liaising with clients, correspondents and deeds office clerk/driver;
- Attend to lodgements and registrations of all conveyancing matters;
- Manage client relationships;
- Preparing quotations, raising invoices and debt management.
