- Ensure branch attains an overall net profit margin as per their objectives.
- Forecast peak sales criteria and cash requirements.
- Monitor and control availability of vehicle and parts stock in line with customer demand and projected sales.
- Control cash flow, stock, and assets at a level commensurate with profit requirements and satisfactory return on investment
- Maximise Company profitability through the sale of vehicles, associated products, parts, and labour. Ensure high standards of quality and workmanship.
- To improve stock turnover ratios, reduce stock holding value and increase sales to meet Company objectives.
- Ensure all customer invoices have been prepared and submitted.
- Cost control of expenses in line with budget objectives
- Carry out monthly examination of management accounts.
- Manage risk and ensure audit requirement compliance.
- Ensure dealer compliance to franchise standards and target requirements.
- Create a high-performance culture and climate in the dealership.
- Strong ability to attract, motivate and retain talent.
- Develop and encourage strong working relationships at all levels in the business.
- Operate staff performance appraisal system and manage performance and deal with poor performance immediately.
- Establish and agree on labour and staff requirements with Executives, Line management and HR Ensure training needs are met and accurate records are kept maximising possible grants.
- To compile and review departmental activities and reporting systems.
- Liaise with HSE department to ensure adequate safety and security measures have been installed to protect personnel and property.
- Maintain good liaison with Executives and line manager.
- Direct Liaison with manufacturers, professional bodies, suppliers, statutory representatives, and all other contacts
- Liaise with Marketing Department to plan the completion of sales campaigns, advertising, and promotional activities and to ensure their cost -effectiveness.
- Instigate research into customer satisfaction and requirements for improvement.
- Assist in reviewing pricing policies, sales discounts, fleet discounts, parts pricing and labour rates Monitor Labour performance against known standards.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Matric Certificate or higher
- Minimum 5 years Dealer Principal experience (Commercial will be advantageous)
- Basic Business and Financial acumen
- Sound knowledge of Manufacturer and Distributor requirements
- Sound understanding of sales, service, and parts.
- Knowledge of governance and compliance regulations and requirements
- Good administrative skills
- Read and write in English.
