- Responsible for managing machine operation to bring packaged materials to conformed to standards (Sealing quality, gram giveaway and efficiency). Well-versed in restoring and fixing machines in cases of malfunctions. This role will report to the Engineering Manager

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Examine bagging equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure good working order.
- Perform preventative and general maintenance on machines and components on a regular basic.
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance on packaging machines to ensure optimum work cycle.
- Assist in developing SOPs and handle views of weighting and bagging equipment
- Responsible for packaging integrity and quality checks on each packaging order.
- Fixing vibrators/ weighers not working on a daily basic
- Monitor correct product weights and ensure that they are maintained throughout the shift.
- Adjust machine temperatures and pressure according to item types
- Always regulate the machine follow /speed to keep production running as efficient as possible.
- Assist the supervisor with the machine setup and changeovers between flavour change.
- Clean and sanitize machine and surrounding area at the end of the shift.
- Educate worker on exercising caution to avoid accidents and prevent injuries
- Comply with the Health and Safety and Personnel Hygiene policies**Inherent Requirements**

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12.
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
