**purpose**:

- The core focus of the Transactional Banking Portfolio Management capability is to drive Transactional Banking growth and product penetration via business development and cross sell in RMB’s target customer sectors with existing clients. The function entails understanding the clients’ objectives, and to market relevant product-based solutions to the clients’ needs to enable them to maximise their cashflow position, i.e. optimise their payables and receivables. The function needs to identify the opportunities to optimise the businesses working capital and cash management requirements more broadly and bring in other specialists as necessary. The function focuses on assisting all corporate clients to interact more efficiently with the bank, as well as the promotion of new products and solutions where appropriate. The team lead role executes the Portfolio Management strategy and supports teams in delivering that experience consistently across all sectors, regions, channels and all Corporate Transactional Banking Products. The role contributes to the retention and improving the client’s connectedness with the RMB brand. This role works very close with the Coverage Sector Heads for each sector. It builds and allocates Portfolio Management teams to ensure efficient staffing ratio’s, such that adequate focus is provided, face-to-face and proactively to Corporate Transactonal Banking Clients. The role uses industry benchmarks, internal baselines as well as Client feedback to continuously improve the client engagement model and experience. The role works closely with other teams in Corporate Transactional Banking and broadly in the Group, to ensure that the use of leading and innovative models and tools in servicing the Client.**experience and qualifications**:

- Minimum Qualification: B.Com or related tertiary qualification
- Preferred Qualification: Master degree in Business or Finance and Certificate in Banking
- Minimum 10 years Banking or similar role experience;
