Here is what they'll need from you:

- Manage the technical aspects of the solution delivery and systems within the domain.
- Manage developers within the domain.
- Make a personal contribution to the technical solutions by developing key solutions that add value to the central stack or initiatives.
- Understand focus and direction of business area; prioritize and drive delivery that helps to achieve this.
- Define technical direction for domain; ensure design of solutions and delivery process adheres to standards set out.
- Involvement in running of domain including sprint planning, design, retros etc.
- Responsible for quality control, maintenance of standards & managing impact/risk introduced by changes across domains - no pressure there

To qualify you must have exceptional skills writing SQL (with stored procedures, UDF's etc.), data integration & validation experience (SSIS or similar), reporting technologies knowledge (PowerBI or similar) plus analysis abilities using SQL + creating cubes (SSAS). AWS Cloud & PostgreSQL is also advantageous but not essential. Proven professional software engineering practices essential too - coding standards, code reviews, source control management etc.. A degree/diploma in computer science/engineering/information science would be beneficial but isn't necessary if your experience covers it off 8+ years development experience required and the ability to perform at a Senior Developer level.
