**Purpose and Responsibilities**

**What theoretical knowledge (e.g. degree / diploma) and experience does the jobrequire?**

- 3 - 5 years experience

- Status meetings with the business and developers
- Communication to business on changes taking place in the environments
- Handover sessions with scrum masters and Developers (RPA and Chatbot)
- Implementing new methodology
- Creating of Change request for any changes need to be done in the environments test

**RPA support responsibilities**

The Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of UiPath RPA processes within the organization. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities related to UiPath deployments, Orchestrator management, troubleshooting, and support.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Deployment Management:Oversee the deployment of new and updated UiPath packages into production environments.
Ensure seamless coordination between development and production teams during deployments.Implement best practices to minimize downtime during deployments.

2. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:Investigate and resolve code-related issues that may arise during process execution.
Collaborate with developers to identify and rectify errors in both Hypercare and Production environments.Implement effective debugging and problem-solving techniques.

3. Orchestrator Configuration and Maintenance:Create and manage Assets in all Orchestrator tenants to support process execution.
Configure and maintain queues within Orchestrator for efficient process management.Perform regular audits of Orchestrator configurations and optimize them for performance.

4. Setting up VDI:Collaborate with IT teams to set up and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments as required for RPA processes.
Ensure VDI configurations meet the performance and security requirements of UiPath processes.

5. Package Enhancement and Optimization:Collaborate with developers to enhance and optimize existing production packages for improved runtime and error prevention.Stay up-to-date with UiPath best practices and recommend improvements accordingly.

6. Database Administration and Management:Manage and maintain databases associated with UiPath processes.Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and backups as necessary.

7. License Management:Handle the management of licenses for bots in Orchestrator, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.Update UiPath Host licenses when required.

8. Environment Management:Manage and configure different environments within Orchestrator to facilitate process execution.
Ensure that environment configurations align with organizational requirements.

9. Troubleshooting Guidance:Provide guidance and mentorship to junior support staff and developers in troubleshooting UiPath-related issues.
Develop and share troubleshooting best practices.

10. Orchestrator Server and Database Maintenance:Administer Orchestrator servers, ensuring they are up and running smoothly.Perform regular maintenance of the Orchestrator database, including backups and optimizations.

11. Account and Process Auditing:Regularly audit accounts and processes within Orchestrator to ensure security and compliance.
Monitor and report on the performance and health of RPA processes.
