Our client, a FinTech in Africa, is looking for a Chief Executive Officer to hire a talented individual to join their team.

**Job Type**: Remote | Full-Time

Degree in Business Management/MBA or similar Experience on a C-level within FinTech/financial services, or similar industry Strong experience in fundraising and investor relations Strong experience within Nigerian market Strong experience in banking/lending industry Experience in Lending Capital, Financial Modeling and/or Private Equity Proven track record of building successful products and high caliber teams from the ground up, ideally in current roles Prior working experience in developing digital products and solutions or experience in digital transformation projects with a traditional company/industry Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles In-depth understanding of capital markets, diligence processes, sales, relationship management, risk portfolio management and asset management Hands-on experience in sourcing and closing deals and dealing with multiple investment deals Execute with excellence to achieve company goals Excellent analytical, negotiation as well as a strong business skills Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders A strong background in debt investing and/or debt funding within the Fintech industry Strong experience in securitisation techniques primarily with regards to debt investing and debt funding Advises on venture capital and private equity fundraising strategies Develops strategies to increase return on investment and profitability Responsibilities Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives Plan and perform fundraising activities Own the vision of the company and define the overall strategy from scale, including long-term goals Attract, retain and develop world-class talent, including making recruitment decisions of full leadership team with outsourced service providers Serve as a main resource for managers in finance, marketing, and sales, and more Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement develop a high performing managerial/operations team Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company Do we spark your interest?
