Production Pharmacist

**Regulatory Affairs Manager - Consumer Brands / CAMs Experience Beneficial**

Location: Johannesburg North

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to join a team in the Consumer Brands market.

We can consider any B.Pharm from QA, Regulatory or Production for the role
If no management experience of staff, that would depend on experience, if correct

Reporting to the Responsible Pharmacist, this pivotal role involves overseeing regulatory affairs strategies and ensuring compliance within their South African Consumer Brands Division.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute regulatory affairs strategy for the Consumer Brands Division.
- Oversee regulatory affairs team and their outputs, ensuring high-quality performance.
- Conduct regulatory product audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Supply technical information and support to internal teams.
- Create, update, submit, and maintain product dossier registration documentation.
- Write clear and accurate product labels.
- Perform regular performance reviews on regulatory affairs team members.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
- 3 to 10 years of experience as a Regulatory Affairs Manager within a recognised healthcare organization in RSA. Consumer Brands highly beneficial (Or no less than 3+ yrs experience)
- Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council of South Africa.
- CAMS industry experience beneficial, with a clear understanding of the CAMS regulatory environment.
- Commercial acumen and leadership skills are essential.
- Previous management experience is preferred, not essential (the client will consider exp in QA, Product, Regulatory over this)
- Availability for hybrid work model: 1-2 days in the office per week, with flexibility for ad hoc office visits and online availability from 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Able to consider non RSA Citizens, with a right to work in RSA, valid work permits, provided the experience is correct and matches the above
