An established fashion company, specialising in womenswear seeks a competent and dedicated individual with good knowledge of garments and a critical eye to take on the role of a **Junior Merchandiser **to work within our design and merchandising department.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**:

- Must have a passion for Fashion and have at least 3-5 year’s experience in Fashion Merchandising
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word / Excel / Power Point / Outlook etc).
- Able to meet deadlines and have good organizational skills
- Excellent knowledge of knit and woven fabrics
- Fashion degree would be a bonus
- Excellent Leadership qualities & able to work under pressure (communication is key / presentation & organisation skills)

**Duties & responsibilities**:

- Store visits and Trend forecasting - analysing the current trends and using them to develop ranges for customers.
- Source fabric required as per tech pack, and submit fabric swatch for approval by Buyer
- Submit lab dips and relevant items for Buyer’s approval
- Develop clear and Accurate Costings on Microsoft Excel to best meet the Consumer Prices.
- Discuss new orders with your team and make sure Planner is given the file to place order with a competent CMT
- Brief the sample co-ordinator in executing fit sample - competent knowledge of garments and a critical eye is key to achieve the best fit possible
- Once fits are approved and bulk fabric is delivered, drive the sample department to execute the seals.
- Creating a style schedule in preparation for production.
- Ensure completed order is delivered on time and in full - drive your team to execute each step in the production process until the order is delivered
