Billing Clerk

As Billing Clerk within this very large, corporate company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our invoicing processes, while also serving as a liaison between the client and the billing department. Your primary responsibilities will include generating accurate and timely invoices, collaborating with your team, and addressing any discrepancies to maintain the integrity of financial records.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Invoicing**:
- Generate and process accurate and timely invoices for goods and services rendered.
- Verify pricing, quantities, and discounts to ensure billing accuracy.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to resolve any invoicing discrepancies.
- **Data Entry and Record-keeping**:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all invoicing transactions.
- Enter data into the company's financial systems accurately and in a timely manner.
- **Customer Service**:
- Respond to customer inquiries related to invoicing promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve any customer billing concerns.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in invoicing, billing, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with billing and finance teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- SAP (preferential), but the Client will train you from scratch.
**Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
**Salary**: R9 000,00 - R11 000,00 per month
