Preform credit checks.

Collate all supporting documentation ID, bank statements, payslip.

Prepare lease documentation for agent.

Make sure all documentation correctly signed and initialled

Send documentation to head office

Manage tenant list

Manage key hand over and ingoing inspection

Manage interim inspection

Manage outgoing inspection and key collection

Safe stowage and recording of goods left behind

Complete service requests and correspond to management.

Administrative duties like faxing, copying, greeting, and answering the phone

Have a working knowledge of the lease agreement and be able to explain its content

Leasing agents have to maintain an accurate and a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the property, specifically in areas like leasing and pricing information, availability, expiration of leasing contracts, and the size of properties.
- **Present purchase offers to sellers for consideration.**_
- **Negotiate sales terms**_.
- Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, generally representing he seller.
- Negotiate prices or other sales terms.
- Advise clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements, and related matters.
- Promote sales of properties through advertisements, show days, and participation in multiple listing services.
- Accompany buyers during visits to and inspections of property, advising them on the suitability and value of the property they are visiting.
- Advise clients.
- Confer with bond originators inspectors, and subcontractors to ensure that terms and conditions of purchase agreements are met before closing dates.
- Coordinate hand over of keys and notice to tenant as well as relocation of tenant if necessary
- Generate updates
- Review property listings, trade journals, and relevant literature, and attend training meetings to remain knowledgeable about real estate markets.
- Coordinate appointments to show homes to prospective buyers.
- Schedule appointments with prospective customers.
- Answer clients' questions regarding construction work, financing, maintenance, repairs, and valuations.
- Advise buyers
- Set up show flat.
- Advise real estate clients.
- Investigate clients' financial and credit status to determine eligibility for financing.
- Verify customer credit information.
- Develop relationships with attorneys, bond originators, and contractors to whom clients may be referred.
- Develop professional relationships or networks.
- Inspect condition of premises and arrange for necessary maintenance or notify owners of maintenance needs.
- Examine condition of property or products.
- Train sales personnel.
- Evaluate bond options to help clients obtain financing at the best prevailing rates and terms.
- Advise real estate clients.
- Schedule appointments with prospective customers.
- Obtain property information including rates and levies.
- Meet with property valuers.
- Contact body corporate and utility companies for service hook-ups to clients' property.
- **Qualifications and prerequisites**_

You must have a friendly and professional attitude with good communication skills. You should have a strong administrative background and preferably a tertiary qualification in a related field. At least one year of work experience; preferably customer services. A basic knowledge of accounting and debt collection skills is essential. You must also be computer literate. SA Citizen of valid work permits only. Multi-lingual. You must be prepared to work long hours, weekends, and public holidays occasionally. As head office is Cape based, you may be required to travel.

During a work colleague’s leave of absence from the company or during month end, peak busy periods or stock takes, you may be required to perform other tasks upon reasonable request from manager.
