Our client in the steel industry is seeking an Inbound Logistics Controller to join them in Alberton, Gauteng. Must have experience working with Freight Agents for inbound shipments. First point of contact for transporters from the coast. Oversee road freight shipments.

**Job Title**: Inbound Logistics Controller

**Geographical area**: Alberton, Gauteng

**Salary range**: R 30 000.00 - R 35 000.00 CTC pm

**The successful incumbent will be responsible for**:

- Working closely with nominated Freight Agents regarding inbound import shipments
- First point of contact from Transporters
- Assist in the set-up of the Transport process with the Clearing Agent and Transporters for each shipment.
- Oversee Inbound Road freight shipments
- Working in Collaboration with Operations Manager
- Planning and facilitation of steel transfers between our 2 warehouses
- Assist with Inventory management and inbound troubleshooting at warehouse

**Minimum qualifications and experience**:

- Diploma or higher in Logistics & Warehouse Management
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Logistics and /or Transportation
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience
- Computer literate - advanced skilled on Excel and ERP System
