Protea Tyres, part of the TWK Agri Group, has the following vacancy available: Technician (Wheel Alignment) at Ermelo, Mpumalanga.

**Responsibilities and Duties
- Removing and replacing tyres
- Repairing punctures
- Carrying out wheel alignment and tracking adjustments
- Properly secure vehicle to lift/alignment machine to ensure safe operation
- Properly dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on vehicle
- Properly dismount and remount tires onto wheels without damaging either
- Align and repair wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms of automobiles, using special alignment equipment and wheel-balancing machines
- Examine vehicles, compile estimates of repair costs, and secure customers' approval to perform repairs
- Inspect or test parts to determine nature or cause of defects or malfunctions
- Recommend product or component design improvements based on data and observations
- Maintain test equipment in operational condition by performing routine maintenance or making minor repairs or adjustments as needed
- Inspect equipment for safety prior to use, and perform necessary basic maintenance tasks

**Qualifications and Skills
- Matric / Grade 12
- Fiscally able to perform duties associated with the position
- Previous wheel alignment experience (advantageous)
